| Proposed Resolution by the Michigan District 10 Republican Committee in support of the Michigan Republican State Party establishing mission statements for each State Committee (05/17/2021) |

| WHEREAS, the Michigan Republican Party believes the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating conservative ideals into positive and successful principles of government; and |
| WHEREAS, Republicans have a long history with basic principles: individuals, not government, can make the best decisions; all people are entitled to equal rights; and decisions are best made close to home; and |
| WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Michigan District 10 Republican Committee to reaffirm its commitment and support of Michigan Republican Party; and |
| NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Michigan District 10 Republican Committee respectfully requests that the Michigan Republican Party should establish a mission statement for each of the Party's State Committees. |
| BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Michigan District 10 Republican Committee respectfully requests the Michigan Republican Party to require each committee author a list of goals that will enable that committee to achieve it's mission; and |
| BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Michigan District 10 Republican Committee respectfully requests the Michigan Republican Party to require each committee to report on the progress of achieving the stated goals of that committee at conventions; and |
| BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be sent to Michigan Republican Party Chairman Ron Weiser, the chairs of the other 13 Congressional District Republican Committees, and the Chairs of the following Republican County Parties: Huron, Lapeer, Macomb, St. Clair, Sanilac, and Tuscola. |
